Zona Economics and Islamic Economics is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Yayasan Mentari Madani. The journal serves as an international platform for scholars, researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research that advances knowledge in the fields of economics, Islamic economics, finance, and sustainable development. ZEIE publishes original research articles, systematic literature reviews, conceptual papers, case studies, and policy analyses that contribute to the theoretical, empirical, and practical development of economics and Islamic economics. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research integrating conventional economic theories with Islamic perspectives to address contemporary global economic challenges. The journal particularly welcomes studies that explore emerging issues in digital transformation, financial technology, artificial intelligence, sustainable finance, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), Islamic banking, Islamic social finance, public policy, corporate governance, behavioral economics, international trade, macroeconomics, microeconomics, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic development. ZEIE is committed to promoting rigorous scientific research that provides innovative solutions to regional and global economic issues while supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strengthening the role of Islamic economic principles in fostering equitable, ethical, and sustainable economic growth. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, and academic integrity. The journal follows international publishing ethics based on the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies the APA 7th Edition referencing style. The journal is published in English to increase international visibility and welcomes contributions from researchers worldwide. Articles are published under an open-access policy, allowing readers to freely access, download, distribute, and cite published works without subscription barriers, thereby enhancing the global dissemination and impact of scholarly research.
